Hot tub and Ocean view
A unique, modern barn house with magnificent views of a lava coastline and the ocean. The house is fully equipped and features a geothermal hot tub on the deck, offering the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape.
The Barn House is located in the small coastal village of Stokkseyri on Iceland’s South Coast. It is an ideal base for exploring the many sights of South and Southwest Iceland, including the Golden Circle, dramatic waterfalls, and the black-sand beaches along the South Coast.
The two-storey house measures 105 m² and was built in 2010. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the ground floor, while the upper floor features a living room with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, and the main bedroom.
An outdoor geothermal hot tub is located at the back of the house and can be accessed directly from the bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with all the essential appliances, cookware, and tableware, as well as spices, cooking oil, flour, and other basic ingredients.
Please note that the staircase between the two floors is relatively steep and may be difficult to use for elderly guests or people with limited mobility.
Thanks to the low level of light pollution in the area, the Barn House is also a wonderful place to watch the Northern Lights. Of course, seeing them requires a little luck, clear skies, and favourable solar activity.
